The Point, Saranac Lake
Snapshot:
The Point Resort is a unique, private Adirondack estate where you are free to enjoy your time in splendid circumstances. It's a vibrant and exclusive house party, an elegant hideaway, the essence of rustic splendor, luxury and whimsy amid Adirondack Mountain wilderness.

Quite simply, it's The Point. And you are most welcome to join us.

Built in the tradition of a Great Adirondack Camp, The Point Resort marries opulent authenticity with epicurean amenities and a secluded, relaxing wilderness.

Lavishly expressed and painstakingly constructed on the original site of William Avery Rockefeller's Camp Wonundra, The Point continues that tradition of the Great Adirondack Camp era; with the elegance and opulence of today.
The Pitcher Inn - Warren VT
Snapshot:
The Pitcher Inn has been welcoming guests since the early 1850s. Originally a simple country Inn where weary travelers venturing over three treacherous mountain paths from Granville, Lincoln and Roxbury would rest. The Inn evolved over the decades, by providing hearty meals, welcoming guests that chose the village of Warren as a quaint and quiet vacation spot and eventually becoming the Relais & Chateaux it is today.

Time, however, has been kind in preserving the Inn's original hospitality and grace. Today's Pitcher Inn epitomizes Vermont's charms with each room representing selected aspects of the state; its history, character, surroundings, sport and social structure intertwined with the comforts expected by discerning travelers.

Our location, nestled in the heart of central Vermont's Green Mountains, at the foot of Sugarbush Resort, makes it an ideal base to explore the cultural, historic, scenic and active multi-day pursuits that the area boasts year around.

We look forward to perpetuating the Inn's hospitality by welcoming you soon.
There is no better place to relax after your big day then at the Pitcher Inn...complete with massage, champagne and more.
Coppola's Blancaneaux Lodge
Cayo District, Belize
Snapshot:
A dramatic hideaway in a rainforest wonderland. (Photos will blow you away.)

In the early 1980s, Francis Ford Coppola visited Belize, immediately fell in love with the location, and purchased the abandoned Blancaneaux Lodge. For more than a decade the resort was used as a family retreat before Francis opened his tropical paradise to the public in 1993.

Tucked away in a pocket of the Maya Mountains, Blancaneaux Lodge is a 20-room luxury resort where waterfalls tumble into turquoise pools above the jungle canopy. Its remote mountain setting makes it a perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Guests can also explore the ancient civilization of the Maya, which still endures in the sacred sites throughout this magical region. From the ceremonial caves along the white-water rivers of the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve to stalactite caverns and the vast ruins of Caracol deep within the lush rainforest, Blancaneaux is your window into the world of natural and archaeological wonders.
Coppola insists that having a resort in the remote reaches of the jungle didn’t intimidate him at all. “It’s like being on location for a movie – you just bring everything with you or build it yourself.”
Blancaneaux is the kind of place that makes you feel as if you were being put up by your rich, eccentric uncle. Of course, he's merely your figurative uncle—unless you happen to be, say, Nicolas Cage. Yes, Francis Ford Coppola is the proprietor in question, and his tastes and travel loot pervade the place, where he's blended Central American textiles, Mexican curios, a Thai spa (with some of the best massage this side of the Mekong), and most recently, a Guatemalan restaurant to supplement the Italian fare already on offer at Montagna. The mix works beautifully, not least because of its setting: on the banks of a cascading river in the middle of a pine forest. Napping is a constant temptation, whether in one of the 19 breezy, thatch-roofed rooms or one of the innumerable hammocks hanging around. But then you'd miss the hiking, river swimming, and horseback riding on the property; not far away, you can survey jungle-shrouded ruins. Combine a trip here with a visit to Coppola's Turtle Inn for an abridged version of the best of Belize.

Villa Serbelloni - Bellagio,
Lake Como
Snapshot:
For the past 100 years or more, the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni has been one of the most well-known and prestigious hotels in the world. Set in the splendid surroundings of Lake Como, where the blue waters meet the green mountains which soar above the lake, the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni enjoys a breathtaking position on the promontory which juts halfway out into the lake, separating the two branches. The luxurious vegetation of its Italian-style gardens, abounding in Mediterranean and subtropical plants, flourishes in the pleasant microclimate around the lake: sunshine almost all year round, accompanied by mild temperatures in every season. Owing to its delightful setting, Bellagio, an oasis of peace on the shores of the lake, has been a holiday destination for centuries and it was here that, in around 1850, construction work started on a luxurious holiday villa on the banks of the lake for an aristocratic family from Milan.
The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is one of the oldest and most elegant hotels in the Lake Como area and the only 5 star de-luxe hotel in Bellagio.
From April to November the salons and the large lakeside garden offer guests the chance to enjoy a holiday far from the madding crowd and close to nature immersed in one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world.
Lovers of peace and quiet can alternate the pleasure of a poolside drink with beauty treatments and programmes at Villa Serbelloni SPA, the hotel's own beauty farm. Or they can set off from the private dock for a motorboat trip to the historic gardens along the lake which, in Springtime, attract tourists from all over the world: especially for the wonderful flowering of the azaleas.

Lovers of sport can take advantage of the hotel gym and tennis courts, enjoy delightful walks or take a mountain bike out on the Bellagio promontory, before freshening up in the swimming pool overlooking the lake.
